HighLevel (GoHighLevel) A2P campaign rejected: how to read and fix it

Codes: HighLevel / LeadConnector: Twilio 30886-30972 codes
Last reviewed by Adam Hale

Short answer

HighLevel's LC Phone reports Twilio's rejection codes (30xxx). Click “View required fixes” on each rejection reason, fix every one, and use HighLevel's two-checkbox wording and its exact privacy sentence. Codes 30940-30964 can't be resubmitted unchanged.

What you'll see

WhereCodeWording
HighLevelView required fixesA modal with four fields: Error code, Rejection category, What it means, Correction needed. A campaign may have more than one reason.
HighLevel (older UI)MESSAGE_FLOW“The campaign submission has been reviewed and it was rejected because of provided Opt-in information.”
HighLevel (older UI)USE_CASE_DESCRIPTION“The campaign submission has been reviewed and it was rejected because of unverifiable website.”

Text in curly quotes is the provider's wording; the rest is our summary.

Why it happens

How to fix it

  1. Open each rejection reason with “View required fixes” and work through all of them before resubmitting.
  2. Use HighLevel's two checkboxes word for word, unchecked by default: I consent to receive marketing text messages, about special offers, discounts, and service updates, from [BUSINESS NAME] at the phone number provided. Message frequency may vary. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out. and I consent to receive non-marketing text messages from [BUSINESS NAME] about [USE_CASE_FROM_CAMPAIGN_DESCRIPTION]. Message frequency may vary, message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out.
  3. Use the business name exactly as on the CP 575 or 147C. HighLevel: [BUSINESS NAME] should match what's on the CP 575/147C Document.
  4. Add HighLevel's privacy sentence (see privacy policy rejections) and Privacy and Terms links in the footer of every form.
  5. If you trade under a DBA, add “We are doing DBA as [Business_Name]” to the use case description and show the DBA in the website header or footer.
  6. For codes HighLevel lists as not eligible (30940-30964), email support with the subject “10DLC Campaign Appeal for [your business name or number]” if you believe the rejection is wrong.

HighLevel fees (help center, September 24, 2026)

Brand typeOne-time bundleMonthly campaignDaily volume
Sole Proprietor$22.50$2.003,000 segments
Low Volume Standard$22.50$10.00 (Low Volume Mixed $1.50)6,000 segments
High Volume Standard$64.00 (includes secondary vetting)$10.00600,000 segments

The bundle covers brand registration, the first campaign vetting and a $3 fast track. Additional campaigns cost $15. HighLevel's fees page says resubmitting a rejected campaign costs nothing, but LeadConnector's rejection page says a rejection with a campaign ID means a vetting charge of $15 has occurred and that Additional submissions may result in additional vetting fees. Some fields, such as the use case and opt-in message, can't be edited on resubmission, which means a new campaign.

Check before you resubmit. Every rejection costs days, and often another $15 vetting fee. Paste your description, message flow, samples and policy text into the free preflight check, or generate a consistent set with the campaign builder.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use the Chat Widget setup or Manual setup?

HighLevel recommends the Chat Widget flow, which auto-generates the description, samples and two locked consent checkboxes. It must be the only form on the page collecting SMS consent. Use Manual setup for existing forms, paper, QR codes, kiosks or verbal opt-in.

Is HighLevel's toll-free review really four to six weeks?

HighLevel's toll-free guide says it 'can take up to four to six weeks'. Twilio, which processes the requests, quotes about 3-5 business days, so the longer figure is a worst case.

Do I need an EIN for toll-free in HighLevel?

HighLevel's toll-free guide says no, but that predates the February 17, 2026 rule. Twilio now rejects new toll-free requests without a Business Registration Number (30527), except for sole proprietors.
