Which use case should I pick?
If you send more than one kind of message, for example reminders and promotions, register a Mixed campaign (or Low Volume Mixed on 10DLC if your volume is small). Pick a single use case such as Marketing, Customer Care or Account Notification only when every message fits it. The builder suggests one based on your answers.
Do I need two checkboxes for marketing and non-marketing texts?
Several platforms, including HighLevel, ask for separate, optional and unchecked checkboxes for marketing and for informational messages. It is the safest pattern, so the builder generates both when you select promotions plus another message type.
Can I edit the generated text?
Yes, and you should. Replace every bracketed placeholder, make sure the text matches what your form and messages actually say, then run the preflight check.
Is the output legal advice?
No. It is a drafting aid based on published carrier and provider requirements. If you are in a regulated industry, have your counsel review the final text.
