Build a campaign →Privacy & terms SMS clauses
Generate the SMS sections reviewers look for: the no-sharing clause, Twilio's verbatim toll-free sentence, and terms with every required disclosure.
Generate clauses →Preflight check
Paste what you plan to submit. Each problem is flagged with the rejection code reviewers use, why it fails, and how to fix it.
Run the check →Since February 17, 2026, new toll-free verifications need a business registration number (EIN). Since September 15, 2026, they also need separate Privacy Policy and Terms URLs, and Twilio's code 30493 now means Terms of Service problems only.

How to get approved
- Register the real business. Use the legal name and EIN exactly as on the IRS letter, a business-domain email, and a live website that shows who you are.
- Publish your policies and opt-in. A privacy policy that never shares SMS opt-in data, terms with an SMS section, and an optional, unchecked SMS checkbox with full disclosure text.
- Write a consistent campaign. The description, use case, samples, message flow and opt-in wording must all describe the same program.
- Run the preflight check. Fix every error before you submit. Each rejection costs days and often another vetting fee.
- If you're rejected, fix every reason at once. Look up each code, change everything listed, and resubmit within your provider's window.
Approval Kit: industry template packs, opt-in and policy page templates, a resubmission playbook and an agency checklist. One-time $19.

Is OptLint really free?
Yes. The campaign builder, the policy generator, the preflight check and all the rejection guides are free, with no account. The optional Approval Kit is a one-time purchase with industry templates and agency checklists.
Does OptLint guarantee approval?
No. Carriers and their vetting partners make every decision and no tool can promise approval. OptLint checks your text against documented requirements and common rejection reasons, so you fix the usual problems before you pay for a review.
Is my campaign text sent anywhere?
No. The tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored or logged by OptLint.
Which providers does it work with?
Any US provider that registers A2P 10DLC campaigns or toll-free numbers, including Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth, Plivo, Vonage, Sinch and HighLevel/LeadConnector. The rules come from The Campaign Registry, the carriers and CTIA, which apply to all of them.
Should I use 10DLC or a toll-free number?
Local 10DLC numbers need brand and campaign registration with monthly fees. Toll-free numbers need a free verification at Twilio (other providers vary) and suit lower-volume senders without a local presence. Both need the same consent, privacy and terms basics, and since 2026 toll-free requires a business registration number and separate privacy and terms URLs.
How current are the rules?
Last reviewed 2026-10-03, including Twilio's September 15, 2026 error code changes and the new toll-free URL requirement. Each guide lists its sources with dates.
