Not legal advice. No approval guarantee.

The short version

OptLint helps you prepare a cleaner submission. Approval is decided by carriers and their vetting partners, not by us, and nothing here is legal advice.

Who decides approval

For A2P 10DLC, your messaging provider submits your brand and campaign to The Campaign Registry. Third-party vetting partners and the wireless carriers review them. For toll-free numbers, verification is reviewed by the toll-free messaging ecosystem through your provider. Any of them can reject or suspend a registration, including after approval.

What our tools can and cannot see

The preflight check reads only the text you paste. It cannot see whether your website loads, whether your legal name matches IRS records, whether your opt-in form is really live, or how you actually collect consent. Warnings are based on documented rejection reasons and on patterns reviewers commonly flag, not on carrier systems.

Legal requirements are separate

Carrier approval is not legal compliance. Text messaging is also governed by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FCC rules and state laws (for example Florida's and Oklahoma's telephone solicitation acts), which carry significant penalties. Templates here are written to the industry standard but are not a substitute for advice from a lawyer who knows your business.

Accuracy

Rules change often. Each page shows when it was last reviewed and links to its sources. If you find something outdated, please tell us at adam.hale@atomicmail.ai.

No affiliation

OptLint is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Campaign Registry, CTIA, Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth, HighLevel, any wireless carrier or any vetting partner.
